The RBW 7s Local Organizing Committee will host its first annual Gavin Clark RBW 7s Charity Golf Tournament in aid of Breast Cancer on Thursday 12th December 2019 from 12.05 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the Barbados Golf Club in Christ Church.

The cost to enter – which includes a golf cart, a set of clubs, the green fees and return transport between the Dover Cricket Ground and the Barbados Golf Club – is US$140 per person (less US$25 if you have your own clubs).

Gavin Clark, who died in January, was a stalwart of Caribbean Rugby from the early 1960s and was a main instigator and the driving force behind the “Caribbean 7s” for many years.  He was also a dedicated promoter of Women’s Rugby in general, at a time when women playing rugby was not entirely acceptable!

A superb Gavin Clark RBW 7s Golf Tournament Trophy will be presented at the clubhouse – along with a host of other prizes for first, second, third and fourth places – at 5.30 p.m., after which food and drinks will be available.

Please contact Brian Stollmeyer or George Nicholson to make a reservation.
