Graham Allen, (Scotland), Refereed at all levels in Scottish rugby. Numerous Cup, Shield and Bowl finals. Officiated at U21 & Women’s Internationals. Pro rugby including Heineken Cup & Guinness Pro12. 6 IRB 7s and the Commonwealth Games 7s in 2014.  Refereed many 7s tournaments in Scotland as well Hong Kong, Kinsale, Las Vegas 7s, Army 7s, Barcelona 7s, Tobago 7s and RBW7s. He will also be the “Referee’s Manager for this year’s MERBW7s.

Steph Bulanda, (Canada), refereed in Ontario, Canada since 2011. Official at Karuma 7s in Gulu, Uganda 2013. Official at Ontario Junior Rugby Competition 2013 & Ontario Summer Games 2014. Officiated at Saranac Lake Can-Am Tournament 2014 & 2015, Refereed at Tobago Sevens in 2014 and 2015, refereeing the Women’s Finals both years.

Lee Bryant, (USA), picked up the whistle for her local society in Northern California in 2008 and made National Panel for USA in 2016. She has officiated two USA women’s 7s national finals. Has been an official at the 2015 PanAm games, Dubai 7’s, Rugby Town 7s and officiated the women’s final at the Las Vegas Invitational 7’s.

Huw David, (Wales), started Refereeing in 1991 after suffering a serious neck injury. Two years in the Welsh District, then progressed to the WRU  up to Premiership level Pre -Professional  rugby. Officiated International, European Cup, Challenge Cup, Pro 12s. Refereed u 21s Internationals, Senior Schools Internationals, Over 20 Womens internationals including European Cup Final. Officiated IRB 7s, Amsterdam 7s, Geneva 7s, Roma 7s, Tobago 7s, Cwmtawe 7s and RBW7s.

Gordon Galashan, (Scotland), started Refereeing in 2010 after serious injury stopped his playing career. Gordon has been a member of the Scottish Rugby Referees Academy since 2014 and officiated at the Scottish Bowl Final 2015. He has refereed Scottish Schools Shield Final 2016 at BT Murrayfield. Official on King of 7’s, Border 7’s circuit and Legacy 7’s 2016. Gordon was previously an official at both the Tobago 7’s and last years RBW7s.

Michael Hargarve, (Canada), Referee in Ontario, Canada for the past three years. Official at the Ontario Summer Games 2013 and 2015. 2014 USA National High Championships. Has refereed at Saranac Lake Can-Am annually since 2014. Refereed previously at New York Sevens and Tobago Sevens.

Thomas Krebs, (Canada), is a referee with the Nova Scotia society but has refereed across Canada, USA, UK and the Caribbean since 2004. Notable events such as Canadian National Championships, Ontario and Nova Scotia Provincial Championships, Las Vegas and New York 7’s, Tobago and Barbados 7’s, the Bruno Browne Cup in Trinidad, and famous Truro Indoor Sevens.

Kevin Mcgee, (Scotland), been refereeing since 2005 and is currently and SRU AR Panel Member. Kevin has had the pleasure off officiating in numerous Junior and Senior Finals at BT Murrayfield as well officiating in both Pro12 and IRB 7’s. Kevin has also refereed in both Canada and the USA. This will be is Kevin’s second year at the MERBW7s.

Kat Roche, (USA), is a referee currently based in Austin, Texas. She picked up the whistle her final year in university and immediately fell in love with the role. She went to Stellenbosch, South Africa to train for four months before returning to the USA where she has refereed the highest level of women’s rugby in both 15’s and 7’s. She has also refereed the Women’s 7’s Cup Qualifier in Mexico City and assisted at multiple HSBC 7’s events in the USA and Canada.

Charles Samson, (Scotland), currently a Guinness Pro12 TMO. Charles has also refereed Premiership rugby in Scotland, Sevens World Series Rugby and Rugby Europe Grand Prix series, U18 and 20 age grade internationals, women’s 6 Nations and men’s 6 Nations B competitions. Also currently President of the Midland Rugby Referee Society.

Eamonn Sayers, (Ireland), has officiated at all levels of rugby in Ireland as well as numerous Cup Finals and Pro level games.  Prolific on the sevens circuit and as well as three tournaments in Tobago, Eamonn also refereed at last year’s inaugural Rugby Barbados world 7s.
